We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Midwife to join our dedicated team providing care to families with additional vulnerabilities and/or safeguarding needs.

Requirements
Registered Midwife with a demonstrable track record in community midwifery.Experience working with vulnerable families and safeguarding issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for teamwork and collaboration.

Our Maternity Unit currently supports circa. 5,000 births a year serving women living in the areas of Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley and Bexley divided amongst 5 Community Midwifery teams.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an experienced Band 6 midwife to join our 'Lotus' community midwifery team. This is a bespoke team caring for women and families who may be facing complex challenges including identified vulnerabilities and safeguarding needs.
The post holder should be competent and confident at facilitating and supporting normality in childbirth as this role supports our 24/7 homebirth service. If you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, experienced and woman-centred, we would welcome your application.
