Position: Community Mental Health Worker Band 6 £39,912 - £48,635 pro rata
Additional Allowance: Distant Island Allowance £1,349 pro rata

NHS Western Isles CAMHs seeks a Community Mental Health Worker based in Uist & Barra to enhance CAMHs capacity and promote mental health and wellbeing among children, young people, and families, aligned with CAMHs Specifications and the Integrated Children’s Services plan. The post involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver mental health care, provide training to lower tiers of CAMHs, and serve as a liaison/consultant bridging universal and specialist services. The candidate will carry a CAMHs caseload.
This autonomous role offers support from an experienced team, collaborative work within the wider Children and Adolescent Mental Health service, and access to tailored training programs.
