Job summary

Job description

Would you like to join a growing team and be part of transforming services for those who experience complex emotional needs and personality difficulties (also referred to as 'Personality Disorder')?

Introduction

As part of the extra investment in Mental Health Services through the NHS Long Term Plan, we are excited to expand and enhance our offerings for this service user group and their families.

Position Details

We are recruiting 2 full-time Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners to work within the Personality Disorder Hub alongside our expanding team, across Nottingham City. You will work and travel across the city but will be based primarily at a designated LMHT, maintaining a visible presence.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide Structured Clinical Management (SCM) to the LMHT caseload.
  2. Conduct assessments and formulation work for clients with personality disorder.
  3. Deliver training, consultation, and supervision to LMHT colleagues.
  4. Support the wider LMHT team in managing clients with complex emotional needs, including participating in MDTs and case discussions.
  5. Potentially engage in other treatment/therapy options for clients with personality disorder, subject to funding.
Qualifications and Experience

If you have qualifications or experience in delivering DBT or CBT for personality disorder, we welcome your application and will support you in utilizing these skills within the pathway.

Additional Information

You will be trained to deliver SCM to clients individually and in groups. Supervision and line management will be provided by the PD Pathway Team Hub. There may be opportunities for further treatment modalities depending on funding.
