Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Community Mental Health team across the C & E Centre and The Gables. You will conduct assessments and deliver interventions to maximise independence and recovery within community settings.

You will be supported by experienced colleagues, with regular supervision, access to training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• To provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adults with mental health needs within community settings.
• To manage and prioritise a caseload, supporting service users to achieve their recovery goals and maximise independence.
• To work closely with service users, carers and the multidisciplinary team to develop and review care plans.
• To deliver evidence-based interventions that promote meaningful occupation, wellbeing and social inclusion.
• To maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to risk assessment and management.
• To participate in regular supervision, training and service development activities.
