An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to join Ealing North MINT. Our service is centered around Primary Care Networks and aims for comprehensive engagement with Integrated Care Systems using a whole person, whole population health approach. Our model utilizes all community resources including health, social care, Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organizations, and local communities to support wellbeing beyond mental health services. These new teams enable and support people to access mental health services wherever and whenever needed, and help individuals manage their mental health in their local community. We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic individuals.
Main duties of the job
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an innovative Mental Health Nurse. As a Mental Health Nurse employed by West London NHS Trust, you will be instrumental in developing care pathways within the local community mental health team (MINT). This role also provides opportunities for mentorship, career progression, and continued education.
We are looking for applications from Registered Mental Health Nurses with experience in community services.
The ideal candidate will have:
Prior experience working across various community mental health settings and with diverse mental health diagnoses/needs;
Knowledge and experience in delivering brief interventions to patients with mental health needs;
Good written and verbal communication skills to strengthen relationships with the local MINT Teams.
