We are seeking an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Older Adult Team in Caithness. Your role will involve managing the clinical care of patients with mental health issues, delegated by Senior Practitioners (CPN), for adults over 65 or any age with memory concerns. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans in partnership with clients, families, and carers.

The role involves medication monitoring, liaising with psychiatrists, Primary Care, and other Social Care services, and referring to other services as appropriate. You will be an active member of a multidisciplinary team and may supervise students and Support Workers occasionally.

You must be registered with the NMC and adhere to the code of conduct at all times. This position is suitable for Newly Qualified Nurses.

A driving license is essential. A pool car may be available; however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle if required for work.

This is a permanent position, 37 hours per week, worked according to service requirements.
