Job description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (First Episode Psychosis Service)

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK's largest healthcare systems, employs approximately 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We serve a population of over 1.15 million locally, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Role Overview
  1. Provide specialist nursing services for clients diagnosed with First Episode Psychosis within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
  2. Lead initiatives to promote partnership working within the mental health network, both internally and externally.
  3. Manage clinical governance activities within the Early Intervention team, including monitoring standards, staff support, ongoing education, supervision, and policy implementation.
  4. Manage your own community caseload and supervise Support Workers and students within your team.
  5. Deliver care and treatment aimed at promoting recovery, engagement, family involvement, symptom minimization, reduced hospital stays, and social functioning improvement.
Qualifications
