(BAND 6)

(Salary: £39,912 - £48,635 pro-rata)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse with Older Adult Mental Health experience in Caithness. Your role will be with adults over the age of 65 or of any age if there is a memory concern. It will involve assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of the care plan, in partnership with the client and family and carers. You will also be involved in assessment and management of ongoing risk. The role will involve medication monitoring, liaising with Psychiatrists, Primary Care, and other Social Care services, and referring on to other services as appropriate. You will be an active member of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) and supervising students and Support Workers on occasion.

You are required to be registered with the NMC and work within the code of conduct at all times.

The applicant would be required to travel efficiently and effectively to undertake the role.

This is a permanent full-time or part-time post, hours to be discussed.
