An established industry player is seeking a compassionate and innovative individual to join their team in a new community mental health centre. This role focuses on breaking down barriers to care and ensuring that empathy and relationship building are at the heart of service delivery. You will be integral to a team that values co-production and inclusivity, working closely with service users to provide tailored support. If you are passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives and thrive in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is perfect for you.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to help develop and shape a new model of care that breaks down current barriers to care, is non-restrictive, co-produced, culturally sensitive, and accessible. The service will run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for people residing in the catchment area, offering open access to a range of psycho-social-medical interventions at every stage of their wellness journey. This includes short-term hospitality stays for those in crisis and community-based offers that are embedded in the neighbourhood. We will work in partnership with Look Ahead Housing Association, the Tower Hamlets VCSE Alliance, and experts by experience in a new fully integrated community mental health centre based in Bethnal Green and serving PCN1.
We are looking for a person who is motivated, innovative, and keen to support the development of a new way of working. Integral to the role and ethos of the service is a commitment to co-productivity and the eradication of a “them-and-us” culture, the removal of barriers that hinder good care, and ensuring compassion, empathy, and relationship building as the primary focus.
Responsibilities:
Our mission is to make a positive difference in people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive – we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
