A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Community Mental Health Nurse to join its established team in Shaftesbury. The role involves managing a caseload of patients, providing specialist advice, and planning health improvement programmes. Candidates should have a passion for Adult Mental Health and recovery, with good communication and organisational skills. This is a flexible position offering both full-time and part-time hours.
Are you a trained Mental Health Nurse with an interest in Adult Mental Health and passionate about recovery? Shaftesbury Community Mental Health Team are recruiting a Community Mental Health Nurse. You will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary team, with a Psychiatrist, Nurses, Social Workers, OT, Support Time Recovery Workers, Admin support and a Psychologist.
You will provide specialist advice to others regarding the management and care of patients / service users and plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings. You will provide supervision, mentorship, training and clinical support to students and trained practitioners. The Community Mental Health team provides recovery-focused treatment plans for people with severe mental illness. Experience of working in a community mental health environment is beneficial but not essential. You will apply philosophies of engagement and recovery in your work with service users.
This is a full-time and part-time post of 30 hours, based in Shaftesbury and covering surrounding areas.
