Job description

Join us to apply for the Community Mental Health Nurse role at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Come and join us for a unique job opportunity at Norris Green Community Hub! We are working towards delivering a thoroughly modern mental health service that offers excellent standards of care and meaningful interventions.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone interested in developing as a practitioner and person. Development opportunities will be available, and regular clinical supervision and support will be provided.

You will be expected to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused mental health interventions to the population of North Liverpool. This may range from brief therapeutic interventions with some care coordination responsibilities to complex packages of care to meet vulnerable clients' needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills learned in training and to advance your career with lots of future opportunities. Change is constant in NHS services, so we seek adaptable individuals to help us deliver high-quality, sustainable services.

Mersey Care is one of the largest trusts providing physical and mental health services in the North West, serving over 1.4 million people across our region and beyond, including North Wales and the Midlands.

We offer specialist inpatient and community services supporting physical and mental health, including inpatient mental health, learning disability, addiction, and brain injury services. Mersey Care is one of only three UK trusts offering high secure mental health facilities.

Our core commitment is to ‘perfect care’—safe, effective, positively experienced, timely, equitable, and efficient. We support our staff to do their best work and collaborate with service users, families, and carers to shape future services. We are currently implementing a programme of organizational and service transformation to improve quality and reduce costs.

Flexible working requests will be considered for all roles.
