At Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC), we provide joined-up mental health, physical health and learning disability services to people of all ages across Gloucestershire. We run community hospitals and provide care and support in people’s own homes and in a range of other locations across the county.
We are on a mission to enable people to live the best life they can and we have a vision to work together to provide outstanding care. We put people at the heart of our services, focusing on personalised care by asking ‘what matters to you’.
We’re passionate about making sure that everyone can contribute to achieving our mission and we are continually working to support healthy and happy high-quality teams in all areas of the Trust.
Are you a registered mental health nurse with a commitment to delivering excellent mental health care as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team? Then look no further.
Gloucester Recovery Team is a community mental health team made up of psychiatrists, community mental health nurses, senior (B4) and Band 3 support workers, social workers and occupational therapists; and have physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants sitting within the service. We provide assessment and treatment for patients with significant mental health needs in the Gloucester locality. We work closely with the Complex Psychological Therapies team and clinicians have access to training and opportunities to participate in facilitating emotional skills and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy group programmes. The service provides a Clozapine and depot clinic and we actively support access to onsite and at home physical health checks and smoking cessation for all our patients in order to mitigate and reduce the known inequalities in health outcomes for many in our client group.
If you are a registered mental health nurse with relevant experience and a passion for working with people with complex mental health difficulties and are looking for an opportunity to work with different professions in a supportive and friendly team with development opportunities we would like to hear from you!
