Overview

We are hiring a Community Marketing Manager to help us build, grow, and engage a passionate garage & workshop community around our AWOL (Autowork Online) product. This is a hands-on, high-impact marketing role focused on organic growth, owned channels, and customer evangelism in the UK automotive ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Own and grow the AWOL online and offline community (mechanics, garage owners, service centres, MOT stations)
  • Build out Facebook Groups, WhatsApp communities, and forums to drive grassroots awareness and engagement
  • Collaborate with AWOL customers to turn them into brand advocates and user-generated content (UGC) creators
  • Launch and manage Garage Stories - a user spotlight initiative to share authentic experiences with AWOL
  • Partner with Product Marketing to share educational content that adds value, not fluff
  • Collaborate with Sales to surface leads coming from community referrals
  • Monitor community feedback and sentiment and route insights back to the Product and Customer Success teams
Qualifications / Requirements
  • 2-4 years of community or social marketing experience (bonus if in automotive, SaaS, or B2B tech)
  • Deep understanding of Facebook, forums, and other niche communities
  • Empathy-led marketer who knows how to build trust, not push products
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer teams
