About Law Firm Marketing Club
The Law Firm Marketing Club is a community. It’s a community of law firms all looking to ‘do’ better marketing. This may be to get more clients, earn more fees, improve know-how and skills, or it may be to share and collaborate with other law firms from across the UK. We run member-specific expert sessions and collaboration get-togethers.
About You
You might have a varied background but will be a rounded marketing professional as you will be working with skilled marketing professionals in law firms.
The right candidate for this role will be self-motivated and outcome focused. You will be passionate about helping the community members understand their business goals and through content, newsletters, events (virtual & in-person) help them form strategies to achieve them.
Main Responsibilities
The following is a list of the main tasks this job role will handle, but is by no means an exhaustive list and may be varied from time to time:
• Community Development
• Responsible for managing member and partner relationships.
• Ensuring all members and partners receive regular communications and coordinating support and services plus obtaining regular articles and content from partners.
• Undertaking research and producing and maintaining ongoing market and client intelligence and feedback.
• Managing the research and design/production of the annual What Clients Want and the Professional Services Marketing Survey including acquiring sponsors.
• Website management: managing the website and its ongoing development.
• Digital marketing: creating and implementing the digital marketing strategy including social media posts and collateral (videos, images, literature, guides etc.) and emails using email marketing software.
• Managing the production of marketing collateral and ensuring this is kept up to date.
• Monitoring and reporting on ongoing campaigns: undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met and budgets are adhered to.
• Planning, investigating, and organising effective events aligned to the business objectives. If capacity requires it, support can be sought from the Conscious Marketing Team and Office Administrator. These events will include:
o Webinars
o Podcast
o Members Summit (two per year held at a Midlands hotel)
Business Development
• Creating & executing marketing campaigns to generate new members for LFMC.
• Also collaborating with the Marketing and Account Management teams to generate new members from the existing Conscious client base.
• Take direct responsibility for closing these new members yourself.
• Managing the business’s business development database and other software applications and developing automation to improve efficiency and conversion.
• Regular reviewing and improvements of internal processes to make time savings.
Required Skills
The most suitable applicants will display the following:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Comfortable receiving and giving constructive criticism in a positive, considerate manner.
• Confidence in talking to clients in detail about their business and requirements.
• Ideally familiar with macOS and MS Office/Email/Internet.
• Excellent organisational, project and time-management skills, managing multiple projects.
• Ability to take ownership of your projects.
• Self-motivated and a desire to learn.
• Passionate about good marketing.
Experience with/of the following is desirable:
• Experience of the legal sector.

Hours of Work
• Monday to Friday.
• 37.5 hours per week (but someone wanting a part-time role of at least 22.5 hours per week).
• 9.00am to 5.30pm (unless otherwise agreed).
