About Us

We are a mission driven wellness brand with an award winning range of collagen, blends and supplements. We started as all good businesses do, by seeing the opportunity to do things differently in a growing market. To carefully balance people, planet, and profit for the sake of the world around us and our health. We are shaping the future of wellness with simple daily rituals, thoughtfully and sustainably designed to support women’s health. Our vision is to be the #1 wellness brand in the world, setting new standards for holistic health, sustainability and female empowerment.

As a B-Corp, Ancient + Brave meets the highest standards of social and environmental impact. In June 2024 we were named 5th in The Sunday Times 100 fastest-growing private companies and we have recently been recognised as one of the FT 1000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies, 2025.

Want to be a part of a team that’s shaping the future of health and wellbeing? We\'d love to have you!

The Role

As Community Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in cultivating and expanding our Brave community — a key part of the Ancient + Brave brand. This role is integral to building meaningful connections and bringing our values to life through authentic engagement.

You’ll be the daily voice of the brand across key platforms, leading conversation, encouraging user-generated content, and ensuring our followers feel seen, heard, and valued. Working closely with the Head of Brand, you’ll help shape the voice of the brand in a way that sparks loyalty, trust, and emotional connection - not just on social, but across the full subscriber and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Brand you will be responsible for:

  • Community Growth & Engagement
  • Build and manage a thriving brand community across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms
  • Proactively engage with followers, fans, and customers through comments, DMs, live moments, and user-generated content responses
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure a clear process for identifying and responding to questions across all channels
  • Create a sense of belonging and shared purpose around the Ancient + Brave brand
  • Encourage advocacy and brand loyalty
  • Work with Influencer and Social teams to support brand building and customer engagement using tools such as Sprout
  • Advocacy & Brand Love
  • Develop initiatives that turn fans into brand advocates—through surprise-and-delight, recognition, and deeper brand interaction
  • Identify and nurture people from micro-communities to superfans, with community-first activations, events, IRL experiences and online forums
  • Collaborate with the Innovation and Nutrition teams to manage and develop a community of subscribers within our product testing programme
  • Subscriber Experience & Brand Belonging
  • Work with digital and CRM teams to enhance the experience for subscribers—bringing them into community-focused moments, early access campaigns, and exclusive initiatives
  • Foster belonging and connection across our customer base—making subscribers feel insiders, not just customers
  • Partner with CRM and Brand teams to develop community-focused messaging and member moments
  • Reporting & Insight
  • Track community KPIs and sentiment, reporting on engagement, loyalty behaviours, and growth
  • Stay on top of social trends and audience insights to spark meaningful connection
  • Who You Are
  • Experienced in community or social media management in wellness, lifestyle, beauty, or a values-driven brand
  • A natural communicator with emotional intelligence, brand sensitivity, and the ability to make followers feel personally connected to the brand
  • Proactive, warm, and creative—loves engaging in online conversation and represents Ancient
  • Brave with empathy and consistency
  • To truly thrive at Ancient + Brave you will need to embody the spirit of our brand and align with our company culture. You will be:
  • Hungry: Ambitious, driven with a growth mindset, always seeking ways to learn, develop and be better
  • Humble: No ego, collaborative team player, acts with integrity and accountability, aligned with our B-Corp values
  • High Performing: Efficient, with a solid work ethic, pushes for exceptional results while maintaining resilience and balance
  • Hustle: Entrepreneurial, innovative, fast-paced, a great communicator, adept at solving problems
Our Interview Process and What You Can Expect
  • Application Review: We’ll review your CV/application to assess fit for the role.
  • Initial Phone Call (circa 15-20 minutes): Introductory chat with our Talent Partner, discussing experience, career aspirations, and alignment with our values.
  • Video Interview (circa 30 minutes): Virtual interview via Google Meet with the hiring manager to discuss experience and competencies and to ask questions.

  • Note: This role requires full-time work at our Lewes offices. Please apply only if you are within a reasonable commute to East Sussex. There is an option to work from home one day per week after successful completion of probation.
