Vision West Nottinghamshire College is seeking a Community Liaison Advisor for a term-time role within the Student Welfare Department. The postholder will work across the college and local communities to support welfare, wellbeing, safety and conduct of learners aged 16–18.

Salary The pro rata salary will be £24,246.15 per annum based on a full time equivalent of £26,792 per annum VBSS Band 5 support scale.
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Community Liaison Advisor to join the Student Welfare Department. The post holder will act as a visible and proactive presence across the college and local community, supporting the welfare, wellbeing, safety and conduct of predominantly 16–18-year-old learners. The role will build strong partnerships with local businesses, District Council wardens, Neighborhood Policing Teams and other stakeholders to promote a safe and supportive environment for young people.The role requires excellent communication, relationship-building and conflict de-escalation skills together with the ability to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will work closely with Support Coaches, curriculum teams and external partners to identify concerns, support early intervention and contribute to safeguarding and community safety.The role will require you to embed the college’s values; Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Compassion and Ambition.
