Through proactive community and stakeholder engagement, you will champion the values of Acorn Training and the adult learning services we offer, inspiring individuals to enrol in our programmes. Your role involves promoting active participation and enriching the learning journey of adult learners, creating a nurturing educational environment. You will enhance learner referrals and enrolments, forge partnerships with external stakeholders, ensure compliance, and provide management insights on referral generation.

Key Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with external stakeholders, community organisations, and networks to support adult learning programmes.
  • Promote suitable Adult Learning programmes and SWAPs to learners and referral sources.
  • Conduct information, advice, and guidance sessions for potential learners.
  • Engage with learners, employers, and community groups, providing detailed information about programmes.
  • Manage learner referral information and coordinate with tutors and managers.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and support potential learners.
  • Assess individual learner needs and provide tailored guidance.
  • Participate in education and careers events to promote adult learning.
  • Complete recruitment and enrolment documentation accurately and on time.
  • Achieve monthly targets for programme starts, placements, and progressions.
  • Implement learner engagement strategies.
  • Gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote programmes.

Qualifications and training (Essential)
