Salary: £31,984 - £35,100 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 36 hours per week

Based at Alyth Community Wing, this post involves working with a wide range of community members both on a 1:1 basis and in group settings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver learner centred programmes for Adult and Community Learning.
  • Engage with a wide range of people and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and support volunteers.
  • Support collaborative and partnership working to deliver the community empowerment agenda including community asset transfer.
  • Co-ordinate and promote a range of community funding programmes.
  • Build relationships with individuals, groups including community groups, local staff and partners to support engagement, learning and community capacity building.
  • Deliver Community Learning Development (CLD) projects dependent on need in the local area.
  • Support the team in peer self-evaluation across CLD services with partners and communities.
  • Contribute to local and community planning in relation to Community Learning and Development and local outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required

You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.

  • 6 public holidays and an additional discretionary day.
  • Paid SSSC annual membership for relevant positions.
