Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Community Involvement Officer on a fixed-term/secondment basis for 6 months until 31 March 2027. Job description

This post is a fixed term/secondment for 6 months until 31st March 2027 due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.


Integrated Well-being Networks have been implemented across Gwent to improve well-being through community-based, place-focused approaches. They form a key part of the whole-system transformation set out in the Welsh Government's long-term plan for health and social care.


As Community Involvement Officer you will support the development of Caerphilly's place-based well-being approach - strengthening local networks, engaging partners, and working with community assets to promote well-being for all.


The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply., You will have a passion for working with people and empowering them to achieve their goals. You will be able to build strong, positive and long-lasting relationships that lead towards better well-being for all. You will be motivated, organised, proactive and a confident communicator. You will be comfortable working independently and alongside the team in order to achieve our programme objectives. You will need to be flexible to work at different locations within Caerphilly borough.
