Job summary

Delta Housing Ltd. is seeking a Community Investment Lead on a 12 month fixed term contract to deliver services that help customers live healthy, safe and connected lives in cohesive communities.

You will lead the implementation of the Community Investment Strategy across our operating areas, working with residents and partners. The role requires driving the development of strategy, leading the team and volunteers, securing funding, ensuring inclusivity, and embedding social value with

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• Experience with community or voluntary sector and ability to motivate involvement.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to deliver priorities.
• Ability to build relationships based on trust and respect.
• Willingness to travel and hybrid working 2–3 days onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of Delta's Community Investment strategy.
• Motivate and develop the Community Investment team and volunteers.
• Identify and submit funding applications and partnerships.
• Ensure services are inclusive and accessible, removing barriers.
• Embed social value across the organisation with contractors and partners.
