Job description

If you are a nurse, midwife, or other registered healthcare professional interested in contributing to community health in Norfolk, consider applying to join our team.

We seek clinicians who are flexible, have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with diverse communities, and are passionate about promoting health. Prior vaccination delivery experience is beneficial, but full training and induction will be provided.

The role involves some weekend and evening work to meet community needs.

Main duties of the job
  1. Independently and collaboratively deliver a wide range of vaccinations across all age groups.
  2. Work in various settings including schools, community clinics, and other venues.
  3. Assess and review missed vaccinations and vaccination histories, including those not vaccinated in England.
  4. Travel is required; a full valid driving license and access to a car are essential unless disabled as per the Equality Act 2010.

  • Support the delivery of immunisation programs as delegated by senior staff.
  • Ensure safe and effective immunisation service delivery.
  • Accurately collect data at each session.
  • Collaborate to meet KPIs and develop accessible services for all community segments.
  • Promote safe practices and health education, liaising with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Salary range: £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, pro-rata.
