Position:Community Healthcare Assistant

About the Role
  • Provide personal care, help with routines, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, social activities, and errands
  • Be friendly, confident, and able to put clients at ease
Qualifications
  • Kind, caring individuals committed to making a difference
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Calm under pressure, follow good hygiene standards, and work alternate weekends
  • Driving licence and access to a car
  • No experience necessary, Abicare provides full training for this role
  • Full time contract – Minimum 37.5 hours per week
  • £12.20 – £13.70 per hour plus 30p per mile mileage
  • Paid travel time, £200 refer-a-friend scheme
  • 28 days holiday pay (pro-rata), free uniform and PPE
  • Paid training, career development, easy-to-use app based task and payment system
  • On-call support, birthday leave, Blue Light Discount Card, wellness and employee assistance program
