Overview

The successful candidate will be supporting clients/service users in maintaining their health and wellbeing, undertaking specified and delegated clinical and therapeutic activities under the supervision of healthcare professionals, in addition to assisting the healthcare team with the planning, organising and provision of clinical care.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high standards are maintained in a safe environment, which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals, assisting Registered Professionals in the implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans and accurately recording patient information, providing support and supervision to other colleagues and learners as appropriate.
  • Work alongside your team members to contribute to the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work under indirect supervision of qualified professionals.
  • Carry out delegated tasks as identified by the qualified professionals in the care plan.
  • Support patients to maintain their health and well-being and support their carers.
  • Undertake specified and delegated clinical and therapeutic activities.
  • Ideally be ECG and phlebotomy trained or be willing to undertake these courses.
About the role

This role is based within the Charnwood Community Mental Health Team at Loughborough Hospital. It is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 9-5pm. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing high-quality care to older people.
