Job summary

Lancaster City Council is recruiting a Healthy Communities Officer to promote prevention, healthy living and reduce health inequalities across Lancaster. You’ll support and coordinate projects that empower residents to live healthier lives, strengthen partnerships and contribute to lasting system change in our community.

You’ll lead initiatives like Make Every Contact Count and Smoking Cessation, using local data to plan, organize meetings, report progress, and facilitate community conversations

• Experience coordinating projects and working with diverse communities and partners.
• Organised and clear communicator with ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver health improvement initiatives.
