Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is recruiting a Business Development Officer within Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership. You will provide administrative, operational and business support across community and primary care services, working with multidisciplinary teams to help deliver safe, efficient and patient-centered services.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Administration or related field, or significant equivalent experience.
• Experience in a busy administrative, secretarial or business support environment.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and electronic information systems.
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and workload management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and business support to multidisciplinary teams across community services.
• Supervise and support business support and caretaking staff for day-to-day service delivery.
• Coordinate appointments, room bookings, records management and local admin systems.
• Assist with workforce planning, recruitment, staff development and induction activities.
• Support operational management of community premises, liaising with departments and partners.
• Contribute to audits, surveys, reporting and service improvement initiatives.
• Monitor budgets and procurement, ensuring policy compliance.
