Foundation Scotland is an independent charity that provides funding to charities, social enterprises, and community organisations. We do this on behalf of over 400 individuals, charitable trusts, and companies.
Our Communities Team enables and empowers communities across Scotland to devise and implement their own strategies for local funds from various sources, notably renewables businesses. We provide fund governance, grant administration, and related services for a range of clients, with a commitment to community-led approaches.
We are seeking a Community Funds Advisor to support our team delivering a portfolio of work in south-west Scotland for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers variety, challenge, and meaningful impact.
Reporting to the Community Fund Manager, you will have experience in grant making, community development, or related environments, along with excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, the ability to learn and adapt quickly, and a strong commitment to community-led approaches.
Please note, while this role is home-based, regular travel around south-west Scotland will be required, including attendance at evening community meetings.
