It also provides opportunities for career growth and development, a healthy work-life balance, and recognition for your contributions.

About You:

  • Fundraising experience is preferred, but strong communicators with sales experience will be trained
  • Experience of working to KPIs and targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • A team leader and player, capable of leading, motivating, and managing a geographically dispersed volunteer base
  • Ability to build positive relationships with volunteers, donors, and key stakeholders, managing their expectations

About the Role:

  • Developing and maintaining sustainable relationships with supporters in local communities
  • Implementing fundraising plans for identified St John Ambulance volunteers/groups to deliver the community fundraising strategy
  • Managing all supporter relationships within budget, deadlines, and stewardship levels
  • Analyzing and proactively managing group development to achieve targets
  • Managing, recruiting, inducting, training, coaching, retaining, and rewarding volunteers in line with the volunteer strategy
