Job summary

Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre in Cornwall is seeking a Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer to develop community fundraising opportunities and grow supporter relationships.

You will work with local groups, clubs and organisations to champion the Merlin Centre through fundraising, partnerships and events, contributing to sustainable income. This fixed-term, part-time role (22-28 hours/week) requires evenings and weekends and a driver with access to a car to maximise reach across Cornwall.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to community fundraising and supporter stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local communities to grow fundraising income.
• Inspire individuals and groups to support Merlin Centre through fundraising activities and events.
• Act as the key contact for community groups and identify future fundraising opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of supporters, groups and partnerships to drive income growth.
• Provide outstanding stewardship to supporters and ensure they feel valued.
