Job summary

The role requires at least 3 months in care, empathy and good communication. DBS within 6 months is preferred; training in safeguarding and health and safety is encouraged.

Qualifications

• At least three months experience in a residential care setting.
• Empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards support.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care, maintaining comfort and hygiene, upholding dignity.
• Follow individual care plans to meet residents' physical and emotional needs.
• Complete logs and reporting; escalate issues to the person in charge promptly.
• Collaborate with the care team to enhance residents' lives.
