Job summary

JustOT is seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Falls Occupational Therapist in South East London. The role focuses on supporting older adults after falls in the community, conducting functional and environmental assessments, and prescribing equipment and minor adaptations.

You will work within the MDT and manage an autonomous community caseload, supporting safe independence for elderly patients in a London borough.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with older adults in the community.
• Experience working with elderly fallers.
• Experience assessing and prescribing equipment and minor adaptations.

JustOT are recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Falls Occupational Therapist to join a community-based service in South East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced community OT with a background working with older adults and elderly fallers.

The Role:

• Assess and support older adults following falls in the community
• Complete functional and environmental assessments
• Assess and prescribe equipment and minor adaptations
• Provide appropriate OT interventions to promote independence and safety
• Work closely with the wider MDT
• Manage a caseload autonomously across the community

Requirements:

Ability to travel around the community
