Juice Recruitment is delighted to be in partnership with a fantastic Co-working space organisation, with the appointment of a Community and Events Coordinator to join on a permanent basis.
Acting as a crucial part within the team, the successful candidate will be the first port of call for members regarding what program of networking events and workshops are upcoming.
Co-ordinating the community events schedule with the Operations Manager & Managing Director
Scheduling in the promotion of events/workshops with the marketing team, including updating the member portal (website), slack and supporting activities on social media
Liaising with potential workshop providers and booking in speakers, catering and overseeing logistics
Oversee and support the event team during functions, delegating responsibilities
Responsible for ordering and stock control of function Food & Beverage
Supporting the Operations Manager with the Wellness and Gym activities
Provide operational administration support as and when directed by the Operations Manager
You will also be part of the large team and support around the building, including covering reception during lunch breaks and staff leave
The is a brief outline of expected duties. As the role grows there will be additional responsibilities
At least 3 years’ experience in coordinating community & networking events
A strong interest in events, building communities and networking
The ability to work under pressure
High levels of organisation
Clear, concise communication skills both verbal and written
Proficient in Microsoft Window packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £23,000 per annum
Shifts: There will be occasional evening and weekend events, flexibility will be required to support the larger business needs
