The Community Protection Team plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety and environmental standards across Cornwall. Through a combination of education, support, and enforcement, the team works with businesses, individuals, and communities to ensure compliance with parking and environmental regulations. Their work includes investigating complaints, managing technical enquiries, and addressing a wide range of community-related environmental issues. By promoting awareness and adherence to relevant laws, the team helps create a safer, cleaner, and more orderly environment for all residents.

We’re looking for a proactive and committed Community Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our Community Protection Team. This role focuses on tackling environmental crime—such as fly tipping, littering, waste duty of care and abandoned vehicles—through education, engagement, and enforcement.
37 hour - Monday to Friday
