We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer among social welfare agencies across Hampshire, Wiltshire, and West Sussex, and to help address social isolation and loneliness among members of the RAF Family.
The post holder will work with socially isolated individuals to identify enriching opportunities to reduce loneliness, develop action plans, and coordinate support to overcome barriers, connecting them with appropriate support within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience in social welfare support, strong relationship-building skills, and empathy for the Armed Forces community. Those with backgrounds in social prescribing or veteran support are encouraged to apply.
This community-based role involves working from home, covering Hampshire, Wiltshire, and West Sussex, delivering remote and face-to-face support. You should be based in one of these areas and have your own vehicle for travel. Occasional travel to London will be required. The role requires an Enhanced DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK.
