Volunteering with Victim Support in Lincolnshire
As a Volunteer in Lincolnshire your role will include:
- Raise awareness of our services
- Work alongside and liaise with key partners such as police, schools and local businesses
- Attend any events and presentations on behalf of the service
What we ask of you?
In order to join us as a Community Engagement Volunteer, you must:
- Attend Bishop Grosseteste University Lincoln
- Be 18 years of age or over.
- Be able to volunteer for at least 4 hours per month, for at least 15 weeks.
- Complete a 3-day workbook.
- Undertake an enhanced DBS check where required
- Be able to provide two satisfactory references.
- Have an active email address that you are comfortable using in order to engage with VS communications.
Expenses
- All Victim Support volunteers are entitled to out-of-pocket expenses incurred whilst volunteering, including travel and lunch.
