Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Community Connexions Development Worker. The role focuses on building relationships with local communities to support healthcare priority setting and research engagement, including public health outreach and event coordination.

The post involves working across BCHC and with other NHS Trusts and partners to promote inclusive engagement, bid writing, and regular reporting to funders and committees.

Competenze

• Experience in community engagement or public health work is desirable.
• Ability to record accurate notes and provide regular reports to funders/partners.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse communities.

Mansioni

• Lead community engagement activities and interact with local communities and groups across BCHC and partner organisations.
• Organise events online and in person, and conduct home visits when needed.
• Prepare reports and updates for the Research & Innovation team and stakeholders.
• Engage with faith groups and community groups to support priority setting and research engagement.
