Are you looking to develop an exciting career as a community fundraiser and join an ambitious, successful, and award-winning charity? Merrifield Consultants is partnering with Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice to find two Community Engagement Officers!

We’re seeking professional fundraisers with experience in community fundraising or corporate partnerships, managing a portfolio of community groups, or securing long-term partnerships.

Basic Details:

• Job Title: Community Engagement Officer (x 2)
• Organisation: Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice
• Location: Barnet, North London, Hybrid (3 days in the office)
• Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop external networks to support and grow our funding capabilities.
• Lead outreach efforts to engage new local community partners.
• Secure community grants and funding from local appeals.
• Plan and deliver engaging stewardship events for key audiences.
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Beacon), tracking communications, income, and supporter preferences, ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Travel across catchment areas (North and Central London, Hertsmere) to meet supporters and attend events.
• Meet fundraising income targets, supporter acquisition, and retention goals.
• Demonstrate strong networking, organizational, and project management skills.
• Confident speaker with good presentation skills.
• Experience in using databases to enhance supporter experience.
