Are you looking to develop an exciting career as a community fundraiser and join an ambitious, successful, and award-winning charity? Merrifield Consultants are partnering with Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice to find two Community Engagement Officers!

We’re seeking professional fundraisers with experience in community fundraising or corporate partnerships, and managing a portfolio of community groups or securing long-term partnerships.

Basic Details:

• Job Title: Community Engagement Officer (x 2)
• Organisation: Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice
• Location: Barnet, North London, Hybrid (3 days in the office)
• Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop external networks to support and grow funding capabilities.
• Lead outreach efforts to engage new local community partners.
• Secure community grants and funding from local appeals.
• Plan and deliver engaging stewardship events for key audiences.
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Beacon), ensuring GDPR and data protection compliance.
• Travel across catchment areas to meet supporters and attend events.
• Meet fundraising income targets, supporter acquisition, and retention goals.
• Demonstrate strong networking, organizational, and project management skills.
• Confident speaking and presentation skills.
• Experience using databases to enhance supporter experience.
