Job summary

Bible Society in the UK is seeking a strategic Community Engagement Lead to shape and deliver programmes that connect people with the Bible across England and Wales, with a focus on prisons, refugees and asylum seekers, and economically disadvantaged communities.

You will build partnerships with churches and Christian networks, manage community initiatives and funding, and help develop strategies that turn our mission into measurable impact.

You’ll build strong partnerships with churches, Christian networks and other organisations, manage community initiatives and funding, and help develop strategies that turn our mission into meaningful, measurable impact. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, relational and highly organised individual who wants to combine excellent programme management with a genuine heart for Bible mission. This is a permanent role within a team that is entering a new phase of leadership. Therefore, the responsibilities of this role may develop over time.
