Job description

Do you have a passion for the UK Church and would love to give your working time to help it effectively disciple people of all ages and stages of life?

Do you thrive within a multi-functional team, working with others towards an exciting and significant set of outcomes?

At BRF Ministries, we believe the local church is a powerful partner in transforming lives and deepening Jesus centred discipleship, and this role is all about nurturing those connections and helping churches engage more deeply in our mission.

We are looking for someone who can initiate strong relationships and build effective partnerships with churches to support the implementation and scaling of BRF Ministries new Church Partnerships Scheme.

The Church Partnerships Manager will ensure the smooth launch of our prototype Church Partnerships Scheme and help shape the future of multi-generational discipleship within the local church context.

Whether it’s helping to design discipleship journeys, equipping church leaders and speakers with discipleship resources, or building links with networks and dioceses, you’ll play a key role in deepening relationships, and opening doors for people to get involved.

Our ideal candidate enjoys working relationally and strategically - someone who can spot opportunities, communicate clearly and inspirationally, and help bring our mission to life for a church community.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team, where we celebrate generosity, share stories of transformation, and work together to grow impact. If you’re passionate about the church, confident in your communication, and motivated by the chance to build meaningful partnerships, we’d love to hear from you.

This role will work across several teams and collaboration is key. We recognise that people work in different ways and from different places, so whilst primarily a remote working role, there will be scope for regular in person engagement. Structured time on-site at our office in Abingdon is available to those within commuting distance.

Please note: this role has an Occupational Requirement for a Christian faith, in line with BRF Ministries vision and values.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities, particularly those that are underrepresented within our staff team. This includes, but is not limited to, people from Black, Asian and other ethnic groups.

By applying for this role, you agree to BRF Ministries processing your personal data supplied in your application for the purpose of recruitment and selection. For further details regarding how BRF Ministries processes personal data, please visit brf.org.uk/privacy-policy.

Closing date: 30 October 2026 at 23:59 Shortlisting will occur on a rolling basis. Interviews will be scheduled for the week beginning 16 November 2026 . The position may be closed early if a suitable candidate is found.

BRF Ministries is the home of Anna Chaplaincy, Living Faith, Messy Church and Parenting for Faith. As a Christian charity, we inspire, equip and support people of all ages to grow in faith. Our ministries have a proven track record of making a difference. Much of what we do can be accessed online but we’re also out and about nationally, regionally and locally.

Whatever their age, wherever they are on the journey towards God, our mission is to see more people:

  • grow in understanding of the Bible
  • encounter God and experience vibrant Christian faith
  • be equipped to exercise gifts in leadership and ministry.
