Overview

Rethink Mental Illness is an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness. We believe that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity, and equity is a core value.

This is a 16 hour a week role on a fixed-term contract (FTC) until 11 September 2026.

Role

We are recruiting an experienced Community & Engagement Worker to join a team providing excellent quality of support to people using the Connect & Offload Helpline (CandO). The CandO service delivers practical and emotional support and signposting to people experiencing severe mental illness, their carers and relatives. The role is based within our Gloucestershire Mental Health Helpline – CandO, and will be community based with flexible hours each week by mutual agreement.

CandO focuses on delivering a high-quality service that supports anyone aged over 18 and living in Gloucestershire with their mental health.
