Job Description:

Your new company

In your new role as a Community Engagement Co-ordinator, you will be joining an expanding business in the Highlands and working to grow the brand's visibility across the North of Scotland. This is a newly created position and an ideal opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment for a forward-thinking organisation. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary, use of a company vehicle and a company bonus scheme. You will be in a field-based role, working in either the Inverness, Ross-shire, Caithness and Sutherland areas.

Your new role

In your new role, as a community engagement co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships within local communities. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing community engagements, attending third party events, hosting events, networking with community groups, hubs and schools. You will seek out sponsorship opportunities to increase local brand awareness and complement the overall group marketing and PR strategy. You will work closely in the local community, networking and building partnerships in person. You will report on your progress and provide regular updates to your manager and document success stories across the team.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role, you must have strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build long-lasting and impactful relationships. A confident networker, you will be a self-starter with a keen eye for opportunities to build successful partnerships. Working on your own initiative is key as this role does offer a great deal of autonomy. As this role is field-based, working in the local communities, you must have a full UK driving licence. Due to the nature of this role, you must have some flexibility in working hours and approach to your own diary management, as some of these events and engagements will fall outside of the traditional 9-5.

What you'll get in return

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and impactful field marketing role. This role offers great variety, the opportunity to work in a growing business and work in a supportive team. You will be paid a competitive salary and have opportunities for career progression.
