Job description

Title: Community Engagement Coordinator (Men’s Wellbeing)

Salary: £27,195 to £28,775 per annum FTE (Subject to Performance and Funding)

Hours: 37 Hours per week - 2-year fixed term Contract (extension subject to Funding)

Location: Sandwell

Responsible to: Head of Operations

Ideal for All is seeking a passionate and proactive Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team. This exciting new role will support the delivery of Sandwell’s borough-wide Men’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Community Programme, working across three key areas: Mental Health Awareness & Access, Identity, Resilience & Empowerment, and Community Connection & Wellbeing Activities.

This is not your typical 9–5 role. To truly connect with men in their communities, we need someone with lived experience, who is flexible, approachable, and willing to meet people where they are, whether that’s in a local park, a community centre, or a barbershop. The role involves working some evenings and weekends to ensure we reach as many people as possible within the 37-hour week. If you're someone who thrives on variety, values meaningful engagement, and enjoys working outside the box, this could be the perfect fit.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations, Integrated Services Managers, and delivery partners including Tough Enough To Care, to engage men aged 18+ across Sandwell’s six towns. The role will also support the co-development and delivery of the Men’s Mental Health Toolkit and other resources, amplifying men’s voices and lived experiences.

If you’re committed to reducing stigma, promoting inclusion, and empowering men to improve their wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you.

To apply, please send your CV along with a Covering Letter outlining your suitability for the role to: recruitment@idealforall.co.uk or call 0121 558 5555 option 4 for more information.

Please note that due to the volume of applications we receive, we will only be able to contact candidates who have been selected for interview. You are advised to submit your application as soon as possible, as we reserve the right to close posts at any time once we have received sufficient applications.
