Your new company
In your new role as a Community Engagement Co-ordinator, you will be joining an expanding business in the Highlands and working to grow the brand's visibility across the North of Scotland. This is a newly created position and an ideal opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment for a forward-thinking organisation. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary, use of a company vehicle, and a company bonus scheme. You will be in a field-based role, working in either the Inverness, Ross-shire, Caithness, and Sutherland areas.
Your new role
In your new role, as a Community Engagement Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships within local communities. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing community engagements, attending third-party events, hosting events, networking with community groups, hubs, and schools. You will seek out sponsorship opportunities to increase local brand awareness and complement the overall group marketing and PR strategy. You will work closely within the community, networking and building partnerships in person. You will report on your progress and provide regular updates to your manager and document success stories across the team.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you must have strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build long-lasting and impactful relationships. A confident networker, you will be a self-starter with a keen eye for opportunities to build successful partnerships. Working on your own initiative is key as this role offers a great deal of autonomy. As this role is field-based, working in the local communities, you must have a full UK driving licence. Due to the nature of this role, you must have some flexibility in working hours and approach to your own diary management, as some of these events and engagements will fall outside of the traditional 9-5.
