Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland's Perth and Kinross Community Dietetic Team is recruiting a Band 6 Community Dietitian to deliver nutrition care across GP practices, community hospitals, patients' homes and care homes in Perthshire.

You'll work with a multi-disciplinary team, support the Long Term Conditions Service, supervise Dietetic Support Workers, and occasionally provide ward cover at Perth Royal Infirmary. HCPC registration required.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Band 6 post delivering community-based nutrition care incl. nutrition support and home enteral feeding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver community-based nutrition care across GP practices, community hospitals, patients' homes and care homes.
• Provide dietetic support to NHS Tayside’s Long Term Conditions Service.
• Occasionally provide ward cover at Perth Royal Infirmary.
• Supervise Dietetic Support Workers and Band 5 Rotational Dietitian.
• Promote pathway development and professional development across teams.
