A leading healthcare provider in Reading is looking for a Community Dietitian to join its team. This role requires providing dietetic care across various community settings, including nursing homes and outpatient clinics. Community Dietitian - Band 5
The Berkshire Community Dietetic Service has an opportunity to offer a permanent Band 5 Community Dietitian role. The post holder will be covering a community caseload, including providing dietetic care to nursing home patients via the Care Home Support Team, training to nursing staff, outpatient clinics, community inpatient ward input, paediatric triage, patients requiring nutritional support or enteral nutrition in nursing homes and their own homes. There are opportunities within the department to shadow, upskill in specialist areas.
We are a mobile working service and offer our outpatients the choice of face-to-face, virtual and phone appointments as well as home visits. To support this, we have excellent IT access and support staff home-working where appropriate.
