Job summary

United Reformed Church is seeking a part-time Community Development Worker to grow engagement with local communities in Newcastle upon Tyne. This two-year fixed-term role will involve developing leaders, inspiring groups and volunteers, and building on existing work with community partners.

The salary is £32,000 FTE plus pension contribution, training grant, and holidays. 24 hours per week, flexible schedule, with regular Sunday worship attendance, weekends and evenings as required.

Jesmond United Reformed Church, Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to appoint a part-time Community Development Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to develop work in the communities of Jesmond and Shieldfield in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Salary: £32,000 FTE plus pension contribution, training grant, and holidays

Hours: 24 hours a week, flexible, with regular Sunday worship attendance, weekends, and evenings as required.

This is a two year fixed-term contract in the first instance
