Community Dental Officer Jobs in Boston, Lincolnshire. ZEST Dental Recruitment, in partnership with an established dental practice, is seeking to recruit a Community Dental Officer.

  • Salaried: Band A - £47,653-£71,479 (pro-rata)
  • Annual leave: 27-32 days + bank holidays (pro-rata)

Role Overview

This role involves providing non-UDA NHS dentistry for patients with additional needs, focusing on high-quality patient care without the pressures typical of NHS high-street practices. The work includes routine adult and paediatric dentistry, extractions, dentures, and managing patients with complex needs, including anxious patients requiring sedation.

The service offers a supportive environment suitable for dentists new to community dentistry or early in their careers (FD/DCT+1), with opportunities for career progression and professional development, including mandatory inhalation sedation training.

Work Environment

The service operates out of two well-equipped dental surgeries within a medical centre, fully equipped for patients with additional needs (hoist, wheelchair, bariatric bench). Domiciliary care is also provided where appropriate, and occasional travel across the county is required.
