Overview

Community Dental Services has a vacancy for a full time Qualified Dental Nurse to join both the Consultant Led Paediatric and Adult Special Care Dental clinics based across various sites in Hull.

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will form part of a well-established team assisting dental clinicians providing dental treatment for Paediatric and Adult patients who meet the referral criteria and can not accept treatment in a general dental practice.
  • The applicant will be resilient, well organised and have the necessary dental nurse skills and knowledge to work in a busy clinical environment, supporting dental clinicians with complex dental treatments whilst supporting the patient and keeping them and/or their appropriate adult involved in treatment options.
  • The applicant will also be responsible for carrying out Infection Prevention & Control measures following HTM01-05 and company specific general standard operating procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and have excellent written and verbal communication and IT skills and be a great team player who enjoys communicating well with patients.
