Job Description

We are seeking a Community Delivery Manager to join our expanding team on a fixed-term basis. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of our final mile delivery, focusing on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will lead performance management across delivery units, supporting our network of self-employed couriers.

  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and management insights.
  • Monitor and enhance performance metrics such as Speed of Service, Next Day Delivery, and Claims Handling.
  • Improve delivery experience by engaging and communicating effectively with couriers.
  • Manage capacity by recruiting, onboarding, and supporting couriers to ensure full coverage.
  • Build sustainable courier networks to meet increasing delivery demands.
  • Control costs related to courier fees and local asset use.
  • Collaborate with delivery and customer service teams to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Experience in coaching, supporting, and motivating teams or individuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and contingency planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills adaptable to various stakeholders.
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.
