Job description

About

We are looking for a Community Delivery Manager to join us on a Fixed Term Contract until January 7th, 2026.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Delivery Manager to join our fast-growing team at Evri. As a Community Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the final mile of our parcel journey runs smoothly—putting customers and clients at the heart of everything you do. You'll lead performance across delivery units by supporting, developing, and engaging our network of self-employed and SE+ couriers.

This is a great time to be joining us! We are growing year on year, with ambitious plans for future growth, and we would love to give you the opportunity to grow with us!

Role Responsibilities
  • Driving continuous improvement, using data and management insights (MI) to improve service delivery.
  • Monitoring and improving performance metrics, including Speed of Service, Next Day, C2C, Collections, Claims/Enquiries, and more.
  • Minimising customer enquiries by enhancing the delivery experience through effective courier engagement and communication.
  • Capacity management – interviewing, selecting, and onboarding couriers to ensure full round coverage.
  • Building sustainable courier coverage to reduce risk and meet growing delivery demands.
  • Maintaining cost leadership by managing courier fees, ad-hoc payments, and local asset use.
  • Collaborating with delivery units and customer service teams to resolve concerns and improve satisfaction.
Requirements
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Proven experience in coaching, supporting, and motivating individuals or teams.
  • Confident in problem-solving and building effective contingency plans.
  • Adaptability—able to flex your communication style across different stakeholders.
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.

At Evri, we are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can be their authentic selves. We aim to better represent the customers we serve across the UK and are dedicated to removing barriers so that each person at Evri is valued for who they are and what they bring.

We are Evri. Where everyone is welcome.

We're excited for the future. Let's deliver it together.
